Graffters, an equipment supplier to schools, has just launched an exciting competition to find the next great artistic talent of the future!
This millennium we have been advised that our children are eating too much salt, fat and sugar and television programmes such as ‘Jamie’s School Dinners’ have paved the way for an increase in healthy nutrition and active lifestyles amongst the young.
‘Food for Thought’ is an art competition based on the changing perception that children have of food and is open to children up to the age of 16 years.
There are three categories (Abstract / Healthy Eating / My Favourite Food) and all they children have to do is submit one painting of up to A3 in size from one of these topics.
There will be winning paintings from each category, as well as an overall winner and the overall winner will also win a prize for their school or nursery. Prizes will be distributed in January 2011 and winners will be notified to take part in publicity which may include a photograph with their design.
Children must enter before October 31, 2010.
